Patient Status Details

The Patient Status Details section lists every status the patient had and currently has. These include Active, Deferred, and Discharged. The start and end dates for all will also be listed here. 

The admission date is the date the patient was admitted into the system. The Start of Care date is the date the Start of Care Assessment was done or the date services started. The deferred and discharge dates are the dates entered when either of those actions took place. 

By clicking on any status, a slideout will appear that will give details on the dates admitted and by which user. 

A deferred patient refers to a patient who was admitted but never received services. They may or may not have a schedule on their calendar, but they will not have any confirmed visits. 

A discharged patient refers to a patient who was receiving services but for one reason or another, the services should be stopped. These reasons include completion of services, patient expired, clinical discharge, etc.
